Playing Squash - Club update

« The UK Government announced on Thursday that indoor sports facilities in England can reopen from 25th July with social distancing in place.

England Squash are in the process of interpreting what this means for squash and will offer guidelines next week.

These are likely to include restrictions on the use of changing rooms, cleaning of courts post play etc.

Once these guidelines are public we will need to make them fit the environment we have at Chesham 1879 to ensure that anything we do is both safe and practical. We may need, for example, to restructure court timings to allow for cleaning and we might need to ask you to create a ‘bubble’ of people you play with.

We will update you as soon as possible, probably towards the end of next week and hope that our courts can be open in some form In late July. »
